For Autumn/Winter 2026, TVR®OPT presents the TVR®504 TOY Special Edition—a collection inspired by childhood memories, Bauhaus design, and the timeless joy of play.
Created to be more than eyewear, the TVR®504 TOY is designed to accompany its owner much like a favorite childhood toy: not simply as a functional object, but as something personal—an object that gathers stories, memories, and meaning over time.
For the first time in TVR®OPT history, the colors of the collection have intentionally been left unnamed.

Accompanying the collection is PODDY, a tiny companion for your eyewear. More than an eyewear holder, PODDY is conceived as a small home for something you carry, wear, and treasure every day.
BAUHAUS
Something Fashion. Something Function.
In 1919, Walter Gropius founded the Bauhaus in Weimar, Germany, forever changing the direction of modern design.
By dissolving the boundaries between art, craftsmanship, and industrial production, the Bauhaus embraced clean geometry, bold color, and functional thinking—creating objects in which beauty and purpose could naturally coexist.
This philosophy became one of the foundations of the TVR® TOY Collection.
By bringing historical design language together with Japanese craftsmanship, TVR®OPT reimagines eyewear as something beyond function: an object that becomes part of everyday life, gradually forming a personal relationship with the person who wears it.
The playful spirit of Bauhaus toys and educational objects also became an important source of inspiration.
Built from simple geometric forms and vivid colors, these objects demonstrated that thoughtful design could be both functional and imaginative. Their sense of play, simplicity, and timeless visual language became a starting point for the TOY Collection.

The TVR®504 TOY Special Edition brings together timeless vintage aesthetics and Japanese handmade craftsmanship, with every detail created to be admired, worn, and treasured for years to come.
PRISM TEMPLES – Built in Layers.
For the TOY Collection, TVR®OPT introduces a newly developed temple construction inspired by the geometry of a triangular prism.
Different layers of premium Japanese acetate are carefully laminated around a wide, vintage-inspired inner temple construction. As light passes through the material, subtle layers of color emerge, creating changing expressions of depth, transparency, and contrast from different angles.
Just as a prism transforms a single beam of light into a spectrum of colors, the smallest details can reveal unexpected beauty.
3D-SUN PLATINUM METAL RIVETS
The frame is completed with TVR®OPT’s revered 3D-Sun Platinum Metal rivets, adding a refined metallic accent to the playful color composition of the TOY Collection.
Inspired by historic Japanese metalwork, the rivets bring a sense of permanence and craftsmanship to a design built around memory, color, and play.
PODDY

PODDY is a miniature wearable eyewear holder, thoughtfully created to stay close wherever life takes you.
Combining a handcrafted leather case with a small piece of TVR®OPT’s signature Woody Carved acetate, PODDY is more than a practical accessory. It is a playful object created to celebrate the emotional connection between people and the things they choose to keep close.
Inspired by the spirit of the TOY Collection, PODDY reminds us that even the smallest objects can carry memories, stories, and companionship.
